A flying plank smashed into a front windscreen of a car after falling off a transport truck on a highway in eastern China.

The dashcam video, shot in the city of Wenzhou in Zhejiang Province on April 20, shows a plank suddenly falling off a transport truck driving along the S10 ring-shaped expressway and smashing into the front windscreen of a car behind.

According to reports, the driver only piled the planks up on the trunk and did not tie them down. The plank was likely blown off the truck by the wind while driving.

Fortunately, no one was injured. The truck driver was found culpable for the incident.

4月20日，在S10温州绕城高速公路往黄华方向0公里+500米处，林某驾驶闽A牌照的保时捷轿车正在行驶途中，突然，一块木板从前方一辆车牌为皖S的大型货车货箱里飞出，砸在林某的轿车前挡风玻璃上，瞬间玻璃就被击穿一个小洞，发生碎裂。
林某报警后，温州高速交警三大队民警立即赶到现场。货车司机张某表示，车内的确装载的是木板，但木板离车身挡板还有五六公分的距离，有可能当时在桥上风比较大，被吹出车身。民警查看轿车的行车记录仪发现，木板确实是从货车司机张某的车上抛落的，砸向前挡风玻璃的一瞬间正好被行车记录仪拍了下来。

民警打开这辆大货车货箱还发现，车内装满了木板，只是简单堆叠，并没有捆扎，也没有用篷布盖着。经保险人员勘察，轿车的修理费预计达4万元，张某将承担本次事故的全部责任。所幸此次事故没有造成人员伤亡。
