A family in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India asked their neighbours to come out on their terraces to celebrate their son's first birthday during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Footage filmed on April 27 shows families gathered on their respective terraces singing happy birthday to the young Jagatras.

Parents Samuel and Sara celebrated their son's birthday on April 26.

A family celebrated their son s first birthday in the terrace of their house in Coimbatore of Tamilnadu. The neighbors were asked to come to the terrace of their own houses to greet the baby on his first birthday.

Jagatras son of Samuel and Sara Samuel turned one on 26 th of April and they came out with a different idea to celebrate their son's birthday. The family members gathered on the terrace of their house and the neighbours were asked to come to their own terrace at a particular time. Then the family started the birthday celebration followed by the cake cutting. All the neighbors and friends sang the birthday song from their own house terraces around Samuel house. The neighbors also hooded candles to show their love to the baby.
