Car shunted forwards after dogs chase cat around the vehicle in China
A small truck was shunted forwards for more than 1 metre during after two dogs chased after a cat in southern China.
In the CCTV footage captured, a cat quickly burrowed into the bottom of a minivan, and then two dogs chased after it and kept spinning around the vehicle. The two dogs lay on the front of the car from time to time and ran under the bottom of the car in an attempt to drive the cat away from the car.
The vehicle suddenly moved forward for more than 1 metre and hit the rolling shutter of the store, and white smoke emitted from its hood. The dog and cat were frightened and quickly escaped from the scene.
The police came to the conclusion that the cat chased by the dogs hid in the engine compartment of the vehicle. The cat body carried rainwater to the battery or touched it, which caused the vehicle to malfunction and suddenly move forward.
At last, the store owner had to pay for the repair cost of the rolling shutter himself.
The video was filmed on the morning of April 24 and provided by local media.
