US family goes viral on TikTok for 'Survivor'-style challenge over dishes

Ever since quarantine started my family has tried to keep ourselves entertained, especially with chores. About a month ago we decided to delegate dish duty by having tribal council votes, inspired by the CBS show Survivor. After dinner, one by one, we vote for who we think should do the dishes. Whoever makes dinner has immunity and cannot be voted for. We always record our votes on video because we love to watch each other's reasonings for voting for someone. It's always super light hearted and funny. One night we had a tied vote: 2 votes Charles and 2 votes Alice. My mom had immunity because she made dinner (like she usually does), I voted for William, and no one voted for me (Caroline). We had to break the tie, but re-voting or drawing rocks was too easy. We wanted a challenge. My mom remembered that we had a couple of flint/steel sets (which is so random, but we love outdoor activities haha), so we decided on the fire making challenge. And that's where the story heats up- literally. We set up two piles paper scraps in our fireplace, and Alice and Charles went head to head. The rule was that your flame had to last at least 5 seconds. They both kept getting sparks, but no flames. Eventually after 30 minutes Alice's hands cramped up, so William stepped in. It took him 15 minutes to light his winning fire, so that meant dish duty for Charles!
Note: we are a family of 6 (Mom, Dad, Alice, William, Caroline, Charles), but my Dad has been quarantined/isolated in a separate part of the house because he is a health care worker and still goes into work everyday.
