State of emergency and curfew will be lifted in Georgia from May 23,. The relevant statement was made by the Advisor to the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Chikovani. According to him, under the conditions when the virus has not been completely defeated, the government still has to take active measures.According to him, restrictions remain in place for clothing and footwear stores; on-site customer service in cafe-restaurants; public transport; operation of hotels, except in quarantine zones; functioning of malls and markets, except for the agrarian markets that are already operating; functioning of sports and cultural facilities and similar activities; part of the public services will continue to be implemented remotely.Restrictions lifted on the freedom to assembly and manifestation, envisaged by the Law of Georgia on Assemblies and Manifestations, as soon as the state of emergency ended in Georgia. The Administration of the Government of Georgia announced on Saturday.
According to them, the gathering of more than 10 people, including weddings, funerals, etc. is still limited.
