A house collapsed as a massive landslide hit southern China's Changde on July 7 due to days of heavy rain.

The dramatic video, provided by local media with permission, shows a residential house on a mountain collapsing, sending smoke into the air.

In another clip, mud and trees were seen sliding down the mountain slowly.

According to reports, four residential houses, one forklift, one excavator and one tramcar were buried by the landslide, but no casualties were reported.

Since the section of the road cannot return back to normal in a short time, local authorities arrived on site to make plans for vehicles to detour, while police and road maintenance officers watched over the site in turn 24 hours.

7月7日，据湖南省公路事务中心消息，7月6日17:10，因连日强降雨，湖南省常德市石门县南北镇雷家山地灾点发生大型山体滑坡，造成位于该段的省道S522线约300米道路全部垮塌，初步估计垮塌达200万方（实际方量需以地质部门专业勘测为准）。垮塌时有4栋民房、1辆铲车、1辆挖机、1辆矿车随着山体滑坡一起淹没，未造成人员伤亡。短时间内该路段无法恢复交通。相关部门、当地政府已第一时间赶到现场，制定了车辆绕行方案，并由交警、公路养护人员、乡镇干部在受灾值勤点实行24小时值守。（视频由湖南日报提供）
