A massive landslide caused by a 6.8-magnitude earthquake blocked a road in southern China.

Dramatic video filmed in the county of Luding in Sichuan Province on September 5 shows a mountainside collapsing sending smoke into the air. Motorists were seen waiting on either side of the debris.

The landslide was reportedly caused by a 6.8-magnitude earthquake.

Since the rocks were falling down from the mountain, rescue work could not be started.

After the mountain is stable, the emergency rescue team will immediately carry out the operation.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
