A nineteen-year-old was stabbed to death in Leicester, UK on Saturday (July 18).

A 19 year old was stabbed to death in the early hours on Saturday Morning (18/07/2020) during what is claimed to be a street fight. Leicestershire police were called shortly after 2.30am to Bartholomew Street following a report that a man had been stabbed. After arriving in the area, officers carried out an immediate search and an 18-year-old man from Leicester was arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody and enquiries are ongoing. The 19 year old male died at the scene.

The incident happened at a time when the area of Leicester the incident occured remains in lockdown whilst other parts of the UK have had coronavirus measures relaxed.
