Mount Sinabung in the Karo Regency, North Sumatra erupted several times on Monday (August 24).

Residents have been warned to stay at least three miles from the volcano due to a risk of flowing lava.

After the eruption of Mount Sinabung, the activities of villagers farmer still take care of their field, which causing damage to crops on the agricultural land of villagers around Sinabung. Although seeing normal, residents are asked to remain vigilant because Mount Sinabung is at level three or on alert.

In the past week, Mount Sinabung, has experienced 7 eruptions, 61 gusts, two hot clouds glide, continuous microtremors and earthquakes almost every day.

Apart from eruptions, hazards such as cold lava floods also threaten the people around the foot of Mount Sinabung, who live in the watershed from the upper reaches of the mountain.
