Moviegoers in the city of Pasay in Manila's Metropolitan Area were able to attend the cinema by way of a drive-in facility.

Footage from September 8 shows many cars parked up as a large screen shows the movie in the parking lot of the Mall of Asia.

Revellers who are confined to their car are able to watch the films on the big screen and listen to audio through their vehicle's speakers while complying to COVID-19 restrictions.

Mall of Asia in Pasay City unveiled 'Cinema Drive-in: Movies by the Bay' during the general community quarantine (gcq) imposed in the metropolis. Car owners can watch movies inside the comforts of their cars. This measures is to comply with the quarantine rules implemented during the pandemic and at the same time moviegoers can enjoy cinema at the big screen and theater sounds inside their cars.

Movie bundles that come with popcorn, bottled water and food are priced at 400 php.
