This was the sweet moment a woman was reunited with her military husband after a year away from each other.

The clip, filmed on August 15 shows Evelyn Grace running up to her husband Andres Arellano after he returned to Charlotte from his deployment.

"My husband and I had been apart for a year while he was on army deployment. COVID threw a bigger wrench in the scenario because we were unsure of when he would be able to come home or if he would be stuck. It was the best moment ever!" Evelyn told Newsflare.

Evelyn explained what it was like when she saw him on her social media; "I wasn’t expecting to run, or to cry... but geez, best moment ever. It sometimes felt like I’d never get my man back. It feels so weird and so amazing at the same time. He felt weird driving and kept talking about how green everything was and how big the trees were."
