Helmets saved motorcyclists' lives after an out-of-control SUV knocked them over in southern China's Chongqing on September 21.
The CCTV video shows an SUV losing control on a slippery road due to rainfall, knocking over two people on a motorcycle before smashing into an embankment.
Since the two people both wore helmets, they only suffered scratches.
The SUV driver was blamed for the incident as she misoperated.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
