Drone Footage on Island of Iwo Jima Battlegrounds

Buy video

I traveled to Iwo Jima and took HD drone footage of the landing beaches from World War 2 and the historic location on Mount Suribachi where Marines raised the American flag in an iconic moment. No one has flown a drone over Iwo Jima before. Enjoy the volcanic black sand, a sunset, sunrise and beautiful blue crashing waves on this Pacific Island. Every year in March, there is a Reunion of Honor for veterans to return to the battlefield and memorialize the fallen. Very few people have access to this remote island now under the authority of the Japanese military. This rare footage can be used in World War 2 documentaries or re-enactments. I also have the original footage shot in flat (s-log) and 60 fps format. Available for upload and purchase upon request.
