Baidu offers free trials of self-driving taxis in Beijing
Baidu has launched a program in Beijing to offer free trials of its self-driving taxi service "Apollo Robotaxi" from last Sunday (October 11).
In the video, a man used his phone to order an Apollo Robotaxi.
According to reports, residents can take a free trial of Apollo Robotaxi at around 10 self-driving service stations and booking is not needed.
The service operates from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Sunday until 6 November, except for national holidays.
Passengers must be between 18 and 60 years old with safety officers on board.
