Redlands, California: Brush Fire Grows Over 100 Acres Overnight, Prompts Evacuations

On October 14th at about 9:00 pm in Redlands, firefighters responded to reports of a brush fire on the the foothills inside the city of Redlands in the 13200 block of Bruder Street.
The fire grew from an initial 15 to 20 acres into more than 100 acres overnight. As of Thursday morning Cal fire said containment of the fire was at 30%.
Evacuations orders are currently in place for homes south of E. Sunset Drive from Edgemont Dr. to Puesta Del Sol Street, as well as homes north of Live Oak Canyon Rd from the 10 Freeway to San Timoteo Canyon Rd.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and under investigation.
