The Governor of Jonglei State Denay Jock Chagor has visited broken part of the dike in Bor. His visited was part of his assessment after he assumed office last week. He was appointed by President Salva Kiir as new governor of Jonglei state as part of the formation of unity government of the revitalized Peace agreement in South Sudan. Governor Denay Jock told the youth that his government will work together with youth to make sure that the flooding in The state is contained. He said his objectives as governor is to work with youth. The youth at the site welcome him with hope and joys. Some youth said that the dike which was constructed in 2014 by United Nations Peacekeeping force belong to South Korea has many parts watch away by water from the river Nile. The youth sing songs of encouragement to welcome Governor Denay at the dike area. The flood which started in May this year have displaced hundreds of thousands of residents from Ayod, Duk, Twic East, Fangak and Bor counties. Many shelters distroyed.
