Record-breaking flooding in central Vietnam has killed at least 114 people, left dozens missing and damaged or destroyed hundreds of thousands of homes.

This footage, which was filmed in Quang Binh today (October 25th), shows some of the damage in an area where the floodwaters have receded.

According to the United Nations, 178,000 homes in central Vietnam had been flooded as of Thursday (October 22nd).

According to locals, the floodwaters with tremendous destructive power passed through their house and caused it to completely collapse. The walls were destroyed by floodwaters and the house was swept downwards.
People were evacuated when the floodwaters arrived. When they returned, they were shocked and miserable to see their house destroyed by the floodwater.
Dozens of homes in the area have been severely damaged by flood waters.
The terrible flood that attacked central Vietnam left 130 dead and dozens more missing. Hundreds of thousands of houses were submerged in flood waters. Traffic is destroyed. Many isolated areas. Estimated loss of hundreds of millions of dollars.
