This was the harrowing scene captured on a baby monitor in Konak, Turkey when a devastating 7.0 earthquake rocked the region on Friday (October 30).

"I was studying with my friend's two boys when the earthquake hit. Initially, I did not expect such a large quake so I went straight to the first thing I saw shaking to prevent it from falling on my foster dogs. During this time, I was telling the boys to stay calm and tried my best not to show my panic. Thankfully no person or dog was hurt," the filmer tells Newsflare.
