This is the shocking moment a car skidded out of control while undertaking on the motorway and crashed into a traffic barrier.

Dashcam footage shows the white speeding along the inside lane before swerving suddenly to avoid another vehicle moving to the left.

The driver had to quickly move over into the next lane but skidded out of control and swerved into a concrete barrier in Pathum Thani, central Thailand on November 4.

Onlooker Sirisopa Chaiprapa was travelling to work when the incident unfolded in front of her car.

She said the other vehicles were far away enough from the swaying to avoid a pile-up collision.

Sirisopa said: "I was driving behind them when it happened. Everyone should be careful when using the roads especially on the highway where people drive fast."

The police arrived with the paramedics who checked on the driver for injuries but he was unscathed with light bruises.

Nobody else was injured aside from the driver but his car's boot and bumper were crushed.

A portion of the concrete barrier where he hit was also damaged from the car's impact.

Police officers are now investigating the incident and the dashcam footage was submitted as evidence.
