District administration Kaithal is working towards the project of making CNG from stubble and other residues for increasing the income of farmers and preserving the environment.
The MoU between District Administration, Gro-Diesel and Rural Development Trust was signed by Deputy Commissioner Sujan Singh and Gro Diesel CEO Atul Saxena, Rural Development Trust CEO Shekhar and CMGGA Pankhuri Gupta. After this MoU, Parali and other West demand will increase in the district and farmers will get direct benefits . Deputy Commissioner Sujan Singh said that with the preparation of this project, refinery will be constructed at the district level, in which farmers will be procured and sent to the plant through FPO i.e. Farmer Producer Organization, where CNG will be manufactured from this waste.Several steps have been taken by the administration for stubble management earlier also, which has reduced the incidence of fire in the remains in the district.
