Israeli forces demolished Umm Qisra mosque and a water well in the Bedouin community of Azwadeen, east of Yatta city, south of Hebron city in Palestine, according to a local activist.

Footage from Wednesday (January 27) shows the site of the demolition and children at Umm Qasr school adjacent to the mosque, which is threatened with demolition within days.

Photographers were prevented from filming the demolition.

According to the Coordinator of the Protection and Resilience Committees in the mountains south of Hebron, Fuad al-Amor, bulldozers demolished the mosque, which was under construction following demolition orders that were issued several days prior.

Located in Area C of the West Bank, it is under full control of the Israeli administrative and military.
