A heartwarming video has emerged from Yorkshire, UK of an injured crow being set free after being nursed back to health.

The couple can be heard explaining in the video, from late last month, how they came across the injured bird and didn't know how well it'd do on release. The filmer, James, later wrote online: "we did not really think it would be able to fly as there had been no escape attempt prior to release."

But when his wife releases the bird on the Yorkshire dales it flies straight into the air, to the delight of the pair. The filmer described the video as "my beautiful wife setting free an injured crow that she had nursed back to life".
