Red-legged Seriema Bird tries to kill rubber snake then crack open rubber egg by throwing them but they bounce away
I filmed this at Blair Drummond Safari Park, the Red-legged Seriema Bird is part of a Birds of Prey show. As a demonstration, a rubber snake is given to the bird and it repeatedly tries to 'kill' the snake by throwing it down hard but it just keeps bouncing to the amusement of the audience. After being rewarded for this, the rubber egg is produced which keeps bouncing away every time the bird tries to crack it open on the concrete slab, getting all of the audience laughing. The bird is very persistent! The handlers again reward the bird after a few times of demonstrating it's natural behaviour, so the bird is clearly well looked after.
