Despite a dispersal order being in place, hundreds of people gathered again at a Nottingham Park. The arboretum was now being guarded by council offices to prevent drink from entering the park, however whilst they were doing this large crowds descended upon the Nottingham Forest recreation ground just around the corner. People were seen drinking, dancing and having water fights well into the evening and remained even after the sun had set.

The photographer only saw two police officers and two council officers during the 3 hours he was in the area.

The incident happened as he UK replaced its lockdown rules and reintroduced the rule of 6. It also happened as the UK recorded the highest temperatures in 50+ years for March.
