A cool video has emerged of an audience of cinema-goers singing during a power outage at a Grease musical screening in The Netherlands, on Wednesday.

The video, captured by a member of the audience, shows the crowd singing and dancing in the darkened aisles during the powercut at the Tuschinski theatre in Amsterdam.

Writing online after the event, the filmer said: "When the whole heart of Amsterdam went black during a power outage on Wednesday night, a Grease sing-a-long in the cinema turned into a spontaneous singing party in the dark lobby of the famous Tuschinski theater".
