A seat belt saved a motorist's life after their car slammed into a street light in eastern China.
The dramatic video was shot in the city of Changshu in Jiangsu Province on April 15.
A white car was seen speeding into the pole on an embankment and flipped over after the collision.
Kind-hearted passersby called the police and freed the motorist from the cabin.
Since the motorist wore a seat belt, he only suffered minor scratches.
According to reports, the motorist felt sleepy and misoperated the car, causing the incident.
