CCTV video captured a father and a son on a scooter being struck down by the backdoor of a truck trailer in eastern China.

In the clip, shot in the city of Linhai in Zhejiang Province on November 17, the trailer door suddenly swung open, knocking over a biker and his son on a scooter.

The father and the son were sent to hospital. Since the father wore a helmet, he only suffered minor injuries. But the son had eyebrow bone fractures as he did not have a helmet during the incident.

据了解，11月17日中午，池某驾驶二轮电动车接读小学的儿子放学，途经临海市古城街道靖江中路灵江二桥东匝道时，电动车上的父子俩的头部，均与迎面而来的浙J5E**7轻型货车，向左侧甩过来的后栏板发生碰撞。事故发生后，及时把这对父子送往医院，池某因戴安全头盔，碰撞时被头盔挡了不少力量，仅受轻伤。其儿小池因没戴头盔，造成眉骨骨折。
