US artist D.J. Barry of Middlesex, Vermont has gone viral on TikTok after his message of spreading positivity through his army of cows saw over 1,000,000 views and over 3000 shares.

In footage captured on Tuesday (May 18), Barry is seen preparing numerous mini cows with the help of a stencil and spray paint, while a jingle is heard.

Barry is the mastermind behind the World Cow "moo-vement," which aims to bring unity across the globe using his "army of cows."

His website explains: "Growing up in the Vermont country, I was surrounded by farms, and I have always had an appreciation for them.

"Cows were everywhere as my family and I would travel around the state, and we loved capturing Vermont’s beauty with photography.

"Little did we know that one snapshot of a cow would spark a world-wide moo-vement promoting kindness and unity, and our message- we’re all spots on the same cow.

"Long story short, we realized the Holstein picture would make great art, so I began painting it.

"In 2015 we started our campaign Cows For A Cause, where we traveled[sic] around the state of Vermont (myself donned in a cow costume a lot of the time) attending fundraisers for nonprofits, with the goal to sell art and donate 50-100% of the sales to each cause.

"We were able to help various organizations such as ANEW Place in Burlington, VT and Central Vermont’s Relay For Life.

"Giving back to the community and paying it forward is a passion, so while we were helping our local organizations, we knew we wanted to do more.

"We had an idea of growing something larger than our state, even larger than the USA, and wanted to expand around the world."
