This Japanese man has come up with a bizarre way of reading while simultaneously entertaining his pet cat.

Footage filmed in Tokyo on July 18 shows the pet owner reading at home with a cycle helmet on.

Attached to the headgear is a long string with a fluffy toy on the end.

Whenever the man moves his head, the toy bobs up and down amusing the feline which sits on the other side of the sofa.

According to the filmer, the cat wasn't too sure about the whacky invention to start with but has now started to take more of an interest.

A cat owner wants to play with cat but also read a book so he got an idea to attach cat's toy to his helmet and do both together. The cat is not sure what the owner is doing but started getting used to it and started playing with the 'new' toy but it looks the cat got boring pretty soon. Filmed in Tokyo on 18th July 2021.
