Protest near the Mexican border in Texas, US
This footage was filmed and produced 4 September 2021.
Although drug trafficking was somewhat slower over the Labor Day weekend, hundreds of people still took the risk to cross the Texas/Mexico border illegally and turn themselves over to border patrol units. Some said the journey took over a month for them to get from Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua to America.
The video shows a small protest that took place in front of a holding facility in Donna, Texas. It is a new facility that was built over the past few months and the author of the video was able to get busses going in and out, as well as, border patrol vehicles.
