Although drug trafficking was somewhat slower over the Labor Day weekend, hundreds of people still took the risk to cross the Texas/Mexico border illegally and turn themselves over to border patrol units. Some said the journey took over a month for them to get from Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua to America.

The video shows a large group of immigrants crossing the border into the Unites states. The author of the video was the first one to approach them. They wanted water and he interviewed one of them who was from Nicaragua. You can see them rushing towards him to get bottles of water. At the time this video was shot, it was at least 101 degrees. This interview is in English. The man claimed to be a doctor there but was afraid of the government. These videos were shot in La Joya, Texas.

The final videos, which were shot in the evening were in the town of Roma, Texas, show two different family units turning themselves over to border patrol. As you can see, they also had small children with them.
