Passengers enjoying a boat trip in Dorset in the UK recently were surprised to witness a massive landslide that sent tonnes of earth and rock crashing onto a beach.

"I’m a charter skipper and during our 1630 Coastal Cruise from West Bay Harbour, we stopped to look at an existing cliff fall," the filmer, Simon Miles wrote.

"I noticed some rocks and debris starting to fall from the top of the cliff and moments later, the entire cliff had collapsed and the beach had been blocked," he added.

The remarkable moment was caught on camera on July 31.
