This is the terrifying moment dozens of drones fell from the sky during a light show in China.

A large crowd had gathered for the futuristic performance of 200 drones at the Zhengzhou Wanda Plaza in Henan province on October 1 evening.

However, the airborne machines lighting up the sky started descending one by one just three minutes after take-off, prompting the drone operator to initiate emergency forced landing.

Wanda Plaza management said the incident caused no injuries and no property was damaged.

The drone show organiser has reportedly complained to the police that a rival operator caused his machines to malfunction and fall.
