Increased sectarian violence in Bangladesh has led devotees of the Hindu faith to hold a rally in Bengaluru on Saturday (October 23) to condemn the uptick in violence.

The Global Kirtan March is a worldwide peaceful demonstration of pain and grief of the global Hindu community, which stands in solidarity with the Hindus of Bangladesh.

Communal tensions have gripped Bangladesh over the past few days following allegations of the Quran being dishonored at an October 13 event, leading to violence among Muslims and Hindus in the area.

To Condemn the violent attack on the Hindu community in the past few weeks in Bangladesh, ISKCON-Bangalore held a Kirtan March in the city on Saturday. Isckon organization held similar protests at 740 ISKCON temples across 170 countries on 23rd Oct as part of the "Kirtan Global Protest.

Hundreds of devotees holding pluck cards and banners were singing bhajan and Kirtans at the protest site at ISKCON Hills in Bangalore and demanded justice for Hindus in Bangladesh.
