An explorer who goes by an online alias, 29-year-old Mr Airborne, says he has found Scotland's very own Chernobyl.

Mr Airborne explores lost places in the UK that have been forgotten by towns and cities, taking his drone and camera with him to capture eerie and beautiful places he says "99% of people would never get to see."

In his videos, he shows his followers a part of Glasgow abandoned by the previous community. The building he explores is crumbling around him, but the bright blue paint in the staircase still remains despite the aged appearance of the rooms and exterior.

The housing there was built and privately bought by couples and landlords, but when the area was hit by crime and people started selling their properties to escape the area, one of the apartments sold for just £7,000.

He says: "I absolutely love exploring these hidden and forgotten places around the world, it gives you a small look into what the world would be like after humans have gone. I also like the peace and freedom you feel when inside these places."

He also explored an underground World War Two bunker. The video shows the eerily quiet passages built to protect people, or even important industries, from aerial bombardment. Mr Airborne follows the crumbling passageways to find bunk beds, candles left by other explorers, and even some chipped, old toilets.

Mr Airborne started filming his explorations a year ago when people online showed an interest in his expeditions. He also live streams on Facebook, "to give everyone else the sense of being there and an escape from the world for the hour."

This footage was filmed on October 1.
