This is the adorable moment penguins sent their Christmas wishes off to Santa, just in time for the festive season.

The cute creatures appear to all be firmly on the nice list as they are seen dutifully dropping off their letters for the big day.

In the video, the curious penguins can be seen waddling around a letterbox at ZSL London Zoo, with a few trying to mail the letter themselves.

The penguin's zookeeper, Jessica Jones, said: “We’re pretty sure Santa now knows to get something fishy for the penguins this year

“Santa checks his post every day, so visitors may even spot him popping up from time to time on his own Christmas day out at London Zoo."

In one sweet photo, a penguin is stood at the front of the letterbox clutching a wish list in its mouth.

In another shot, the penguins can be seen admiring the letter.

As well as spotting the adorable penguins, visitors will be able to visit Mrs Claus in the Polar Postroom this Christmas, where children of all ages will also be able to post their own letters to Santa.
