The trial of former Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, accused in the case of the events of November 7, is taking place in the Tbilisi City Court. The accused former president himself is present at the court session for the first time. Only a Public broadcaster was allowed to attend the meeting from the media, but one of Saakashvili's lawyers, Shota Tutberidze, managed to broadcast live from the hall for several minutes.

The footage shows Mikheil Saakashvili, placed in a special space fenced with a lattice for the defendants.
It is noteworthy that during the trial, the lawyers included the anthem of Georgia, which is why the judicial board made a remark to them. For reference, the trial of ex-President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili in the case of the events of November 7, 2007 is taking place in the Tbilisi City Court.

The state charges Mikhail Saakashvili with the mass dispersal of protesters on November 7, 2007, the invasion of the Imedi TV company and the seizure of property belonging to Badri Patarkatsishvili by criminal means. Saakashvili was charged under Article 333 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies abuse of official authority, entailing a significant violation of the rights of individuals or legal entities, the legitimate interests of society or the state, which provides for imprisonment for a term of 5 to 8 years.
