A beautiful sea of clouds was seen over the hills at the Doi Inthanon national park in Chiang Mai province, northern Thailand on November 30.

Onlooker Somchai Saelo said: "The clouds were so beautiful. I’m glad I have experienced seeing somethings this pretty."

The clouds were formed during a winter cold spell. The capital Bangkok has seen temperatures in the mid-teens during evenings and early mornings. It has been colder in northern provinces with places in Chiang Mai falling to single digits at low as 3 degrees Celsius.

Thailand’s Meteorological Department advised locals in cooler regions to wrap up warm with extra layers until temperatures become warmer again after January.
