This the romantic moment a man decided to double down on the excitement by proposing to his partner immediately after a gender-reveal for their first baby.

Footage captured in Altamira-Tampico in Mexico on December 26, 2021, shows Tomas Rodriguez punting a football filled with pink dye powder into the air as his partner sets off pink flares.

As the two celebrate wildly, Rodriguez drops to one knee and offers up an engagement ring.

"We’ve been together for four years but due to COVID, we hadn't seen our families in 2 years," Rodriguez said.

"I took advantage of the fact that her family was there with us and that my family was FaceTiming," he added.

'The heartfelt moment a gender reveal turned into a surprise wedding proposal, was caught on camera by Marion Aviña.

"It was the gender reveal of our first baby but the big surprise that nobody suspected was the proposal," Tomas Rodriguez, the one proposing in the video, said.

As Tomas and his partner start celebrating after finding out that they would soon be welcoming a baby girl, the former gets down on one knee and pops the question.

"We’ve been together for 4 years but due to COVID, we hadn't seen our families in 2 years, except for my now fiance’s sister," the subject added. "So, I took advantage of the fact that her family was there with us and that my family was FaceTiming (I’m from Chile, so they weren’t physically there)."
