A man had to quarantine in his car overnight as his health QR code suddenly changed during travelling in northern China.

Video filmed in the city of Heihe in Heilongjiang Province on January 14 shows an official sticking a paper strip on a man's car door to seal his vehicle after he filled a form.

Later stills show the man sleeping in his car at night.

According to reports, the man's health code suddenly had a star on it when he drove out of Heihe City, which meant that there were medium-high risk areas in the province he visited.

So the official sealed the man's car until he drove to the destination to take a COVID-19 test. It took the man two-and-a-half hours to arrive at his work place, and his car was unsealed for COVID-19 test.

However, since the result did not clear yet and it was late already, the man slept overnight in his car.

Fortunately, his COVID-19 test result was shown to be negative.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
