Two women attempted to block a vehicle from taking a parking space by standing in its way in eastern China.

Video filmed in the city of Nanjing in Jiangsu Province on January 16 shows a black car reversing into a parking space, pushing two women standing in the area backwards.

After the car made its way into the space, a woman came out of the car and argued with another woman attempting to stand there to occupy the space.

According to reports, the two women found a parking space available and wanted to occupy it in advance for their friend who was still on the way. However, the black car spotted the space as well and attempted to park there.

The two women called the police and they were all taken to the police station to sort out the problem.

Police told off the two women and the motorist and requested the mall to strengthen the management of its parking lot.

1月16日中午12时许，甲(女，41岁，南京人)与同伴在江宁区某商场的公共停车场发现一停车空位后，两人站在车位入口试图为其尚未到达的同伴车辆提前抢占车位。随后，乙(男, 38岁，南京人)驾驶一辆小型轿车也发现该空位，在明知车后有人站立的情况下，乙未经语言沟通强行向该车位倒车，后双方因抢车位发生纠纷。甲随即报警，民警迅速到场，将双方带回派出所处理。

警方指出，此事件中,，友人友人在同伴车辆尚未到达的情况下，提前以人身抢占车位，并在他人车辆到达后拒不让位，这种不当行为及类似不良风气应子以谴责和批评；机动车驾驶员乙在明知车后有人且未经语言沟通的情况下强行向车位倒车，尽管车速较慢，但其行为仍有一定的危险性，虽不至违法或者犯罪，但乙某作为车辆驾驶员应该了解该危险行为可能产生的后果，其行为仍应受到批评。

通报指出，此事件中，双方主观上都没有扰乱公共场所秩序的故意，且行为均没有产生严重后果，警方对双方各自的不当行为分别进行了批评教育，双方均认识到各自错误。目前，汤山派出所已要求涉事商场加强停车场秩序管理。此外，警方强调，机动车才是停车位的使用主体。（视频由江苏台提供）
