A Vin Diesel look-alike has been amusing locals - posing like the Hollywood star while he gets his car washed.

Arthit Duangsri, 38, gained popularity after imitating the 'Fast & Furious' actor while having his Isuzu cleaned at a car wash in Chiang Rai province, northern Thailand.

Arthit said he worked as a nightclub dancer in his youth, but had never found the right haircut to fit his face, so he decided to go bald instead.

After having his head shaved, a friend approached Arthit and said he looked like Dominic Toretto, one of the main characters of the action movie franchise.

The Vin Diesel doppelganger, who is also an avid fan, then started to curate his wardrobe - filling it with tight shirts and sleeveless tops, and even wearing an imitation of the Hollywood star's iconic silver cross necklace - to mimic the actor's look.

Dominic Toretto has also inspired Arthit to start bodybuilding by watching YouTube videos for about two hours every day.

He said: ‘I have been bodybuilding for 10 years now. I can lift 150-kilo weights and I've never taken steroids.

‘I’m also a huge fan of Vin Diesel and have been following his work, so it made me happy when my friend told me I looked like Dom.’
