This is the reckless moment five kids were seen riding on a single motorcycle in Thailand.

Rescue volunteer Apisit Benjarattanapong was driving along a road in Nakhon Ratchasima province on February 20 when he noticed the schoolboys - none of whom were wearing helmets - crammed onto the two-wheeler.

Apisit sped up his vehicle to follow the youngsters and he estimated them to be around eight to ten years old. Video shows one boy perched dangerously in the pillion position while clinging onto the shoulders of the driver - another child who was going full speed on the highway.

They smiled and flashed a thumbs up at bewildered Apisit as he tried to warn them of the dangers of their actions. He followed the children to make sure they were safe until they parted ways at a junction.

He said: ‘I was worried for the children’s safety so I followed them and even warned them but they did not stop riding. They all looked like elementary school kids.

‘I want this video to be a warning for other teens to be careful while riding. Children should be under their parents' care and not ride the bike when they aren’t old enough.’
