A deaf and dumb cowherd, made his herd of cows move to the tune of his flute.

Rabi Hembram of Baura village, deaf and dumb, creates magical melodious sounds with his homemade flute, which, when touches the ears of his herd of cattle, draws the complete team around the magical composer.
Rabi draws his hither-thither grazing cows and other animals with an enchanting tune from his flute, in the evening, to bring those quadruped creatures back to his village cattle sheds.

Rabi Hembram is that charming 'pied piper', who takes care of cows in Baura village. He collects cows from door-to-door in his village and takes them to some nearby pastures for their food. In the evening he calls those cows back to the village with his bewitching 'tootle', which is captivating enough to draw animals, and thereby, he has become quite a talked-about man in his village.
People of that village are similarize Rabi with Lord Krishna. Just as Lord Krishna took care of cows and spent time with them, attracting them with his melodious music from his flute sound, Rabi too seems to do the same.


Music has no language; it is an expression by itself. It has to be felt with deep emotion.

Cows, too, seem to feel the beauty of the melody of Rabi's flute, and they step back to the village following Rabi.

Rabi Hembram is a poor tribal, who makes his flute with bamboo and played on it.
He is not financially stable enough to buy a good quality flute.
