Motorists helped extinguish a huge fire that burst out of a Lamborghini that cost almost £1 million in eastern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province on March 5 shows a police officer struggling to try to use an extinguisher to put out the fire coming out of a Lamborghini on the G56 Hangzhou–Ruili Expressway.

Two people coming out of a truck with extinguishers in their hands joined the rescue work, followed by two other people from another truck.

The fire was finally put out in only five minutes.

The police officers said the Lamborghini could have burnt down if people from the two trucks did not help.

The Lamborghini was more than £960,000 when it was bought by the owner named Pan. The repair fee will be around £120,000.

Fortunately, no one was injured.

近日，在G56杭徽高速安徽方向1K+604M杭州西入口加速车道上，一辆兰博基尼跑车冒出了滚滚浓烟。附近巡逻的警力迅速赶来施救，无奈浓烟太大，一个灭火器无法压制火势。危急时刻，一辆货车路过，车上两名司机立即停车救火。仅用5分钟，车上的火就被成功灭掉。交警表示，如果没有货车司机帮助，这辆车可能就保不住了。
据车主潘先生介绍，他从杭州西入口上的高速准备回青山湖，上高速不到500米闻到车里面一股烟味，于是就下车检查，发现发动机有点冒烟，于是就想进行自我施救，无奈明火忽然就着起来了。这辆兰博基尼大牛，新车的时候大概800多万，如果现在销售的话，价值在500万左右，这次车子冒烟起火，幸亏大家扑救及时，维修费用估计要100多万。还好，当时车上无其他人员，潘先生自己也没有受伤，不过潘先生当时吸入了浓烟，有点咳嗽。
