Chinese bride protects husband with stick during playful wedding tradition
A Chinese bride used a stick to protect her husband from being hit during a local playful tradition in northern China.
Filmed in Yantai, Shandong province, the video showed several people trying to hit the groom and the bride, standing in front of her husband, used a stick to protect him.
It’s reported to be a local wedding tradition where guests used different ways to cause trouble to the married couple and just to make fun of them and sometimes the tradition may cause a chaotic scene.
The video was filmed on April 10 and provided by local media with permission.
