Footage supplied by the Ukrainian Independent Information Agency appears to show missiles striking a building in Zaporizhzhia, southeastern Ukraine.

The clip captured on April 26 shows clouds of smoke erupting from a building in the distance that was reportedly targeted by Russian missiles.

According to reports, one person was killed in the blast and another was injured.

"Today was a restless morning. At about 6:50 a.m., missiles were fired at Zaporizhia. Unfortunately, the air alarm went off after the first explosion. I want to explain to you again why this can happen.
Radar units of the Air Force are responsible for identifying a potential air threat in Ukraine. The fact is that it is impossible to detect all the threats. Missiles are very inconspicuous targets, and they also program their course. They fly very low and can encircle the terrain. This allows them to remain unnoticed by the air force and not be shot down by air defenses. The missiles that flew today were flying at low altitudes. This has already been reported in Energoatom. According to the company, the missiles flew low over the site of the Zaporozhye NPP in the direction of Zaporozhye.
Therefore, if there was an arrival in the city, but before that the siren was not turned on, it means that the air force did not see the missile, but announce the arrival of the next.
Please do not panic: although the enemy is trying to hide the movement of its air objects as much as possible, our military still sees most of the air threats.

In the past day alone, the Defense Forces of the Zaporizhia Region killed 40 personnel, liquidated 1 plane, 2 tanks, 11 armored vehicles, 4 units of motor vehicles and an ammunition depot. Another 61 enemies were wounded and one was taken prisoner. In addition, one enemy tank and one enemy combat vehicle were captured.
Our military also reports that the enemy is conducting offensive operations in the direction of the settlement of Trudolyubivka in the Zaporizhia direction, but the situation at the front remains under control."
