Russia hit Kyiv with several airstrikes on April 28 as UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres visited the devastated city.

Exclusive footage filmed on Friday (April 29) shows the destruction caused to a high-rise building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital.

A gaping hole is seen in the side of the 25-storey building as local officials began their search and rescue operations.

It has been reported that journalist Vera Girich, who was working for Radio Svoboda, was killed in the blast.

A clip shows her car parked outside the partially destroyed building.

Her colleague, Oleksandr Demchenko, posted on Facebook: "An accurate Russian rocket hit her house, Vera lay there all night, and was found only in the morning."

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, five people were rescued and 10 injured in the strike.
