A patient's stomach was set alight in this bizarre weight loss treatment.

A towel covered in alcohol was placed on a woman's stomach before being set alight at a store in Hanoi.

The customer is seen calmly browsing her phone during the 15-minute treatment session.

The filmer told Newsflare: "Many women in Vietnam like to use this therapy to burn excess fat to lose weight."

The video recorded the scene where the woman covered the customer's abdomen with a towel and poured alcohol on the towel, then burned the customer's entire abdomen with fire. A large fire burned throughout the abdomen, while the customer was still calmly using the phone. The footage was shot on May 16 in Hanoi City, Vietnam.
