Aftermath of the multiple (5+) car crash pileup on the 60 freeway in Whittier, CA
The full aftermath of the multiple car crash/pile up over the course of about 5-6 mins on Sunday morning at around 2:30am on the 60 freeway, where it intersects with the 605 freeway in Whittier, CA. The first car was a minivan that slammed into a big highway sign post/pole going full speed without braking. The subsequent cars all got into very severe car crashes as well trying to avoid the crash and debris from the first minivan wreck. One of the cars went off the embankment/ditch right after it passed by the wrecked minivan.
